characters have started playing a big role in birthday themes for
children today. Earlier, birthday themes would centre on mythical
fairy tale characters. Pokemon, Teletubbies, Powerpuff girls and the

infectious and everyone takes the trouble to dress according to the

the menu, décor, entertainment according to it.

to decide on birthday themes for an upcoming party, you may like to
follow a particular thought process to arrive at the right theme for
the invitees. One of the criteria to consider is the age group of
the invitees, then you might like to zero onto three topics of
interest to this age group. Once you have that short listed,
birthday themes should be easy to device. The basic idea should
be that everyone should be familiar with the theme is some way or
the other and should have fun participating in the thematic games
which would be part of the celebrations.
It is also a good
idea to keep thematic games and competitions at the birthday party
to get everyone to enjoy themselves. A recently held birthday theme
party in my neighborhood had an excellent treasure hunt as a party
game which got everyone one behaving like kids as they looked for
things on their list. As all good parties go, this party was the
talk of the block for some time! |
